Big problem with account verification...
Summary: perseeper-96 is having serious difficulties verifying their identity and using their account on eBay. They tried resetting the password and, although that worked, identity verification remains problematic, especially because of an invalid support number and ineffective communication with customer service. The messages exchanged do not provide any clear solutions, and the required PIN codes are not being received, despite a correct registered number.
Big problem verifying my identity and using my account.
The situation is truly absurd.
I created a new account because from my account I absolutely can’t do anything.
I wanted to reset the password for my old account, and I was able to do it as expected with the security codes sent by eBay to my phone.
When I log in, eBay asks me to verify my identity to keep using my account. I have to call 800 200 40 200, which is an invalid number... I’m trying to solve the problem via chat... A disaster... We go around in circles, nothing gets done, nobody understands the situation.
I’m told to send a PIN code to the number I registered. I never received anything! And my number is correct. My emails are almost unanswered... They often reply off-topic... What should I do?
