Unable to switch my personal account to a professional account
Summary: universab is trying to convert their eBay account from a personal one to a professional one in France, since they are now a micro-entrepreneur. Despite eBay’s instructions, they can’t see the indicated option to make the change. They’d rather avoid creating a new account, since their email address is already linked to the old account. They’re asking for help with making this conversion.

I want to convert my current eBay account from individual to business, since I am now a micro-entrepreneur.
In My eBay > Account > Personal information, my account type is indeed listed as “Individual”, but unlike what is stated in eBay help, I have no “Edit” button next to the account type.
I already started a listing to see whether the conversion would be offered to me when putting the item up for sale, but that is not the case either.
I would prefer to convert this account rather than create a new one, especially because my email address is already associated with this account.
Does anyone know how to do the conversion on eBay France currently?

Since you don't have any buying or selling activity on this account....
you can ask Customer Service to help you...
and/or
create a pro account directly with a new username, new email address and new browser...
