Summary: vanhber shares his experience ordering electronic components from Asia, mentioning growing problems with anonymous packaging and receiving items that were not ordered, as well as senders who are hard to identify. max2661953 responds by noting the concerning situation but asks for clarification if there is a specific question.
Hello,
I often order electronic components from Asia. Now, the reception packages (envelopes) are very often anonymous as to the sender (1 barcode + unknown alphanumeric references from eBay). More and more often too, by mistake, receiving items “unknown, and not ordered,” but with the recipient’s address correct. So what should be done, and who should be notified? Wait for weeks to “maybe” identify an item that doesn’t arrive?
And I’m not even talking about if you also order from other retail sites. Honestly, forgive the expression, but “it’s becoming a mess” ! ! Sometimes also, apparently, a sender mentioned only in “hieroglyphs” (for me), or a labeled sender, but who has nothing to do (apparently) with the username, and the known country of origin from eBay. Never like this in the past.
Kind regards
Bernard
