Outrage and protests
Summary: elyam-88 expresses frustration about a Sony Xperia phone ordered via eBay from Australia that he never received. He laments the lack of response from eBay and is concerned about the impact on the platform's credibility. francexpressdeal suggests contacting eBay Canada customer service directly. *miss-tigri* mentions the deadlines for reporting an item as not received, noting that it may be too late for a refund. koalagris shares a link to the eBay Canada community while wondering about the international status of the complaint.
Since the end of July 2025, I found and bought on our Ebay platform a Sony Xperia phone coming from Australia. Until today, I have never received it. My trips to Canada Post have been unsuccessful, just like my follow-ups with Ebay, which answers me with silence, even though its responsibility is no less involved in an act that shamefully borders on fraud. I find myself forced to make this conduct public, which undermines public trust and, of course, Ebay's credibility: So far, I am asking for delivery of my phone. In the meantime, have a great weekend everyone

(A Canadian who buys in Australia and complains in France ??? 🤔)

Mentor9 months agoI suppose that in Canada there are deadlines to meet for reporting an item not received, just like in France where you have 30 days from the estimated delivery date ..
See this in eBay's help, but it's probably too late to get a refund.
Have a good weekend yourself too
