Summary: ce1208 tried to buy a knife on eBay after accepting a counteroffer, but was charged the original price instead of the reduced price. He followed the counteroffer link but doesn’t understand why the price wasn’t adjusted. Hello, I made an offer this morning to buy a knife..., The offer was not accepted, but a counteroffer was sent by the seller via messaging, eBay...! I paid for the item thinking I was buying it at the counteroffer price, which I had accepted, which was still ten euros below the original price...! And I was surprised to see that in the end I had paid the original price! Yet I went through the email that eBay sent me to accept the counteroffer, I don’t understand what happened. I tried to call them, they were supposed to get back to me today. I haven’t heard anything.
