I can't find the page to send my ID card and bank details.

I've had a seller account for quite a few years, but I haven't used it since eBay forced sellers to use its payment system.
Now that most seller/buyer matchmaking sites do the same, I’m telling myself there’s no reason not to come back.
To avoid eBay blocking the proceeds from my sales, I want, before listing anything, to send my bank details and my ID card.
The problem is that I can't find how to send these documents.
when I go to the seller HUB

it says no payout method available
I click on the arrow to add a payout method
then I click on select preferred payment method
I get a small window that opens
but it stays black with the title "add a payment method"
and at the bottom 2 buttons "back and continue"
by clicking on "continue" nothing happens and back works
I go back to the hub and this time I click on payment method
I get the small window that opens but this time with no buttons at all, completely black

I want to add my bank details but when I click on the "+" add cards and accounts
it only lets me add a bank card.
As for the identity card I found nothing.
I contacted eBay by chat, it tells me to wait 1 minute, after more than an hour I still had nothing.
I tried by email but they send me back to the pages above without giving me a direct link to the upload page.

Contact Customer Service again...
It could be a bug...
in the meantime, clear your browser cache by deleting the recent history that’s causing you to loop.. after logging out of ebay..
and/or
change browsers.

I just got a reply from Ebay.
They told me that my account is a buyer account and that as such these documents are not being requested from me.
I would need to create a seller account.
When I created my account on Ebay right after IBazard, so that was a while ago, and at that time Ebay didn’t ask whether it was a buyer or seller account.
On the other hand, I don’t understand why there should be a difference, a buyer can sell and a seller can buy.
I’ve done 99% sales and 1% purchases, I don’t understand why they put my account as a buyer and not a seller.
By creating a new account I lose my positive ratings on 1600 sales

You’re entitled to +/- intelligent answers from an AI that’s now widely used by the site.
To become a seller, you need to do what’s in this

Register as a seller | eBay
You can do what’s needed from that account, but your browser or browsers have to be completely cleaned...
Then you go back through all the steps one by one...
On the other hand.. let’s not kid ourselves... buyer ratings mean absolutely nothing since, since 2008, buyers can only receive green ratings no matter their attitude.
so starting sales from a buyer account with no real feedback, or from a new account... it’s six of one, half a dozen of the other.
Try entering your bank details again by rechecking all your personal information and correcting anything that needs to be.. see here------>

This may, maybe, unblock your issue...

OP3 weeks agoyes, I know about buyer ratings.
But exactly, I was a seller with very good ratings that I’d rather keep than start over from scratch
a buyer will always trust a well-rated seller more than a new seller.
Also, I had a good hundred buyers following me and, with a bit of luck, some of them would come back
I’m not sure whether the latest email replies are from an AI, or if their AI has a name and signs its emails :)

You can try this--->
buy a few items for a while to reactivate your account, then do what’s needed to be able to sell...
This may, perhaps, change the site’s view of your current approach.
It’s worth trying...

OP3 weeks agoI'm going to wait a bit and see if they respond to my request to convert my buyer account into a seller account.
to make a purchase, I’d first need to find something to buy at a good price.
