I was the highest bidder, and yet the listing slipped right through my fingers.
Hello, when the auction had come down to the wire and I was the highest bidder, why did the listing slip through my fingers to someone who outbid me after the timer, by 50 cents more?

The lucky bidder may have used a sniper to beat you at the post.
However, never forget that the most generous one wins...
Forget this mishap and move on. There's no point in obsessing over it.
