I’m selling an item on eBay, they charge me and then block my funds! My bank account is verified
Summary: ateliers15 expresses frustration about selling an item on eBay, where their €89 is being held despite confirmed shipment. They have been through account checks and are worried about losing money from ongoing sales. max2661953 explains that this is a normal procedure for new sellers, with a three-week delay before access to the funds. francexpressdeal provides a link to an eBay help page, and *miss-tigri* reassures them that the funds will eventually be released unless a dispute is opened.
I sold an item on EBAY for 89 euros, shipping included. I shipped the item and I have the accounting proof plus photos of the parcel, I marked the item as sent, then I want to get my funds back, but it’s impossible, EBAY is blocking my funds for account verification, I have to validate 2 micro-payments of 0.01 and 0.08 cts. I do it and since then, nothing, absolutely nothing. The problem is that I have sales in progress and they are going to take all the money like they just did. I’ll still be charged, I’ll still have to ship to all the buyers, but I still won’t have the money I earned from my sales. THIS IS CALLED ABUSE. I’ve tried every possible way to contact EBAY but NOTHING. These sales are to clear the house of stuff I don’t use, I sell and I stop, I’m already fed up with this mistreatment, they charge you, they block you, they leave you in the sh... and in the end how are you supposed to get your money back under conditions like these? I really need HELP

Mentor3 years agoHello?
It’s the same for all new sellers, but you’ll end up getting your money, as long as nobody opens a dispute 😉

You're a new seller, your funds are blocked for 3 weeks.
You can't get around it.
