My account is historically tied to eBay.de following an initial purchase, I want to change my registration site to eBay.fr so I can receive my emails in French.
Thanks but it doesn’t work, I did what you said then I logged back in and I have a mail in German again! It’s really annoying!!! I don’t understand why Ebay can’t fix this… How do I contact customer service? I tried asking the chatbot but it’s totally missing the point! Thanks.

if we look at your profile, you are indeed registered on ebay.fr. It says:
Location : France
Member since : 03 May 2024
Regarding the fact that you have pages and emails in German, try this:
Log out of your account, clear your browser cache and cookies, and log back in.
If that is not enough, you will need to contact customer service.

if you got the chatbot, it means you were already with customer support.
If that didn’t solve anything, all that’s left is to send a message.

OP1 week agoThanks, but how do you send a message? Where do you go? I'm completely lost in all the menus and submenus of the Ebay interface…

at the very bottom of the help pages, it says: "Do you need another way to get in touch for accessibility reasons?"
You click this link and it will let you send a message and escape that cursed chatbot / AI that doesn't understand a thing ;)
