THE CUSTOMER DOESN'T STEAL EBAY GIVES HER RIGHT !!!!!!
Summary: adan10_1 shares a frustrating experience with eBay customer service, where a customer returned an item citing several reasons, but without providing any evidence. eBay refunded the customer without informing the seller, who then received an empty package. adan10_1 expresses his dissatisfaction with what he sees as a lack of respect from eBay. In response, lingma85 sympathizes, mentioning that this kind of situation is common and lamenting the unprofessional handling of customer service by foreign platforms.
I couldn't believe what I heard about customer service ..... A customer buys an item in my shop (I've been selling on Ebay for almost 22 years) .. She receives it (collector Barbie clothes). At first she says the item is not in a Mattel box /(normal it is sold without the Barbie)/ then it's dirty/ then the ring is missing/ then it doesn't look like the photo/ then finally I don't want it anymore .....!!!! . I warn Ebay about this customer's behavior, Ebay tells me we'll keep an eye on it there is a problem !!!! AND against all expectations ..Someone at Ebay sends her a return label and, without telling me, refunds the customer ....Today I received an "EMPTY" envelope ...obviously I'm not surprised !!!! Customer service tells me "it's your fault !!! the item is defective ....I ask where is the item to prove the defective condition ??? Reply "I quote" thank you for contacting Ebay have a nice evening" ...I can't believe it !!! I often read comments about customer service not being "professional" there I have to admit that things have changed at Ebay and not for the better.... Lack of respect towards a seller !! ONCE AGAIN !!!!!!!

Mentor1 year agogood evening @adan10_1
Oh yes...
I’ve been on ebay for a long time too... and also on the forum with a level of activity that some would describe as "regular"...
What you’ve just "been through" (for an amount no doubt relatively modest compared with other claimants who have had a similar issue...), is pretty much "business as usual"....
Customer Service isn’t run by seasoned professionals who know the ins and outs of their site, but by staff from foreign platforms who more or less understand what’s being asked of them... (and maybe with the help of a stumbling AI... )
Clearly you’re arriving in the circus... so I wish you "welcome"...
Put your issue down as one of the "losses and gains" of your activity.
Regards
