Hello I am in France. I sold internationally and sent an item that was declared "received" by HappyPost to the recipient. I get a message from the buyer telling me that my item is not as described and he sends me photos of a completely different parcel from my shipment, and of its contents. This parcel has a label that has nothing to do with my transaction (sender and recipient names unknown). My buyer should not have opened it because it is not in his name. He files a dispute for item not as described and asks for a "return" of this item.!! No matter how much I explain to him that I cannot accept the so-called return of an item that does not belong to me...Nothing to do. I’ll skip over the threats, insults and slander from this man who demands a refund for my item. It is ebay UK that handles the problem and authorizes my buyer to send me the parcel that does not belong to me, thus backing this scam that I am discovering on ebay. The buyer therefore sent this foreign parcel TO MY HOME I am completely stunned! My funds are blocked and ebay UK tells me that they will only be released when the person who opened the dispute is satisfied.!!!??? I am appalled!!! For 3 weeks now I have been exhausting myself with this matter. So I have 2 questions: _ what will happen if I accept this foreign parcel from my transaction? _what will happen if I refuse this parcel? Thank you very much for helping me. I cannot bear that this scammer gets away with keeping my item and getting my item and the outbound and return shipping costs refunded at my expense. So far I have had no acceptable response from ebay UK, which refuses to understand the problem even though it has all the evidence of a fraud.. With many thanks. I am open to all advice.
