The buyer wants to cancel the sale
Summary: m9jhv_76 sold an item on eBay, but the buyer asked to cancel the sale after it had been completed and paid for, which caused confusion. They are looking for advice on how to handle the cancellation on eBay. francexpressdeal and koalagris replied by sharing helpful links for canceling the order properly, emphasizing the importance of choosing the correct cancellation reason to protect their seller account. The buyer is described as having a history of +120 sales, which makes the situation even more suspicious to m9jhv_76.
I sold an item. I had put it up for auction and the problem is that someone placed a bid. However, once the sale ended, the buyer asked me to cancel the sale.
I’m not really sure how EBay works (it’s my first transaction), but I told him he just had to refuse to pay and it would be okay.
Which he did: he paid for the transaction.
Not understanding, I asked him if that was normal. And he replied, « oops, mistaken action, can you cancel the sale? »
Knowing that this person has +120 sales. I find his way of doing things strange.
Can you help me?

Make sure to choose the reason that indicates this cancellation is at the buyer's request in order to avoid a defect on your seller account.
