Hello,
I bought an item at the asking price.
I paid by credit card via the E-bay platform. My account was debited the same day.
The seller mentioned in the shipping method "hand delivery only". However, despite the many messages I left for the seller to arrange a date and meeting place, I have had no response from them… Total blackout for a week.
The seller has been a member for 10 years. Apparently he has made 9 sales but there are no reviews.
So I want to cancel this order and be refunded as quickly as possible.
Does the cooling-off period for mail-order sales apply on resale sites like E-bay? Do you know what options are available in this kind of situation?
Does E-bay really hold the money until the 6-digit code has been given to the seller?

Based on the story you're telling... it may be that the seller has a health issue that's preventing them from replying to you right away... and/or an internet connection issue... (that can happen)
Wait a little longer before opening hostilities....
