Dispute with buyer. How can I defend myself and contest it???

Hello,

A buyer opens a dispute for an item that supposedly doesn’t match its description. I won’t go into the details, just that this gentleman seems to ignore that an XL size can vary depending on the manufacturer. Anyway...

So eBay gives me 4 choices to try to resolve this problem

- Return (at my expense) of the item and refund ;

- Full refund (the buyer keeps the item) ;

- Partial refund (the buyer keeps the item) ;

- Contact the buyer.

And disputing and defending oneself, is that not possible for the seller ??? Because the person’s arguments make absolutely no sense.
