I bought a heavy glass bottle. When I opened the package, the item was broken into a thousand pieces and no surprise... it was wrapped in two sheets of kraft paper and put in a shoebox-sized carton, with no other protection for shipping.
Obviously the seller doesn't want to hear anything about it, it's not his fault.
in the meantime my money has been taken...
what recourse do I have?

The seller is responsible for their packaging and cannot refuse a return request for a non-compliant item ..
Open a dispute with the link given earlier .
