Delivery to Réunion Island
Why does EBay refuse to send international packages to the island of Réunion (French overseas department). All packages from the USA are not allowed, and all the sellers I ask tell me it comes from Ebay.
Why this blockage?

There is indeed an embargo on certain imported products on the island...
- your customs are very vigilant in this regard.. and that is probably why you had sellers who did not deliver to your region..
- Which products are prohibited for shipping to Réunion?
Kind regards

OP10 months agoHello, Thanks for your replies. First of all: my account is basically registered in mainland France because I was there before moving to Réunion Island.
And regarding the product, it is a plastic car part, original from a Mazda vehicle. But since these are old vehicles, and especially impossible to find locally, I thought I could get them from the USA. They deliver to mainland France but not to Réunion, even though it’s the same country.
Hence this incomprehension at the refusal of delivery

Mentor10 months agoMetropolitan France = ebay.fr
Réunion = ebay.com
If I were you, I'd make a properly registered account again in Réunion because if one day you need to contact customer service, you'll be stuck because you'll need a phone number matching metropolitan France.

Question to ask customer service, specifying the type of item.
(that said, I'm surprised by a shipment to Réunion since your ebay account is registered in Metropolitan France, so unfortunately I can't recommend a contact link... )
Best regards
