This kind of request is made before buying and not after...
At the moment, it wouldn’t be a good idea to delay your shipments..
Given that you have the preparation time + the shipping time... you must not forget the parcel storage period with the carrier while waiting for the buyer to come pick it up..
If all these time frames cannot cover the wait, it would be + prudent to cancel the transaction for "late delivery request by the buyer that is impossible to comply with"...

You can tell your buyer that you are obliged to make this decision because it is a matter of your seller protection with respect to the site and, at the same time, you can also let them know that you are keeping the products, which you will relist for their personal use so that they can buy them back as soon as they return...
