I would like to close a sale, the buyer who thought they had bought with delivery only paid for the item and so eBay concluded it was a pickup and not a delivery, which I still did for the customer but to close the sale I have to scan a code from the buyer who seems not to have received it !! How should I proceed to close the sale?
We NEVER ship when the buyer has selected "in-person pickup," precisely because recovering the code (which is normally reset at the meeting) will depend on the buyer's honesty.
(In such a case, you therefore need to cancel the sale and make the transaction again with shipping)
