Bonjour I won about ten auctions from a seller in the US and I asked him if he could combine the shipping costs, but he has a message saying that apparently he can't do it, knowing that with another seller before, he managed to. I should pay an extra $2 for each item, but that doesn't work for me So he asked me to contact eBay. Do you have a solution ?
- if the seller agreed to combine shipping costs .. this would have been indicated in their listings...
Otherwise... you pay for each item, provided there is one parcel per item/won listing... This obligation should be made clear to them... that should make them think..
- you can pay the seller for the full shipping costs... and ask them to refund you the overpaid amount if they agree to the deal of making one parcel for all the purchases...
As for cancelling the purchases... that would be a bit complicated since a cancellation would have to be done for each item/won listing.
But these are only possibilities that apply on ebay.fr...
- on ebay.com, it may be different..
Contact your seller again and explain that this is not up to ebay, but rather between seller and buyer..
Thanks for your reply! Indeed, during a previous order I was surprised when a seller reimbursed me the fees, so I hope this one will do the same. I’m going to explain the options to him, hoping that it works!
