D.P.D delivery
I have been a customer on ebay for more than 30 years.
I am an old man and I have difficulty getting around, which is why I chose home delivery.
My seller offered me the carrier D.P.D, which cost around ten Euros, something I accepted.
This carrier never showed up at my home!!! Nevertheless, I received an email confirming the opposite
and suggesting that I go pick up my parcel at a relay point 4 km from my home.
I contacted them by phone (premium-rate number at €0.80 per minute). The person kept me on hold for
thirty minutes, claiming to be trying to sort out the problem, and I was treated to some music on hold. This person
assured me that the waiting time would not be charged, and yet the call cost me €24.
I find this way of acting absolutely dishonest, and if someone could advise me I would be grateful to them.
I should point out that I sent a neighbor to pick up my parcel 4 km from my home.
