Delivery to Martinique and overseas territories
Summary: joger972 expresses frustration about the difficulties of shipping parcels from the United States to Martinique, despite the presence of services like DHL and FedEx. They point out that deliveries work to other nearby destinations, but that international shipping policies often exclude Martinique, and they are looking for explanations for this problem.
Hello, we're constantly being told that Martinique, Guadeloupe... are part of France. Parcels are able to cross the Atlantic 7000km from the United States, able to arrive in Trinidad, Barbados, Antigua... but are not able, still from the United States, to arrive 600km away, in Martinique!!! and this isn't a logistical issue since we have DHL and Fedex in Martinique! I've already ordered from an American supplier (Dallas, California...) without any problem. But the international shipping policy refuses Martinique. Can someone explain why?
