So, a seller is refusing to give me the tracking number for the registered package; he sent it 6 days after payment even though it’s supposed to be done within 5 days... after 3 messages asking for it, he’s not replying, he just marked it as sent without tracking ???? my question is, when I go into other actions I can no longer click on "I did not receive the item" wouldn’t this guy be trying to scam me ?? especially since his ratings aren’t good, how many days do I have to wait now and what recourse do I have if nothing is received?

When you bought it, you had the delivery deadline on your order...
After that date has passed, you can do what’s in this link----> Get help for an item that hasn’t arrived | eBay
- contact eBay in the tab provided in the link above... do it during office hours if possible and ask to be called back ( also here----> eBay Customer Service )
Disputes can only be opened once the delivery deadline has been exceeded.... and within the 30 days that follow...

If you paid by paypal and you can’t open a dispute on ebay, report the non-receipt on your paypal account - you have 180 days after the payment date to act.

OP2 years agogood evening, thank you very much for your reply, I’m going to try to follow what you told me without being sure of what will happen, this seller is so dishonest.. it says ""Sent (no tracking) : estimated delivery Tue. Aug. 27 - Fri. Aug. 30 "" but that had already been there on the 23rd just after ""Order date :22 August 2024Order total :267.00 EUR"" even though on the 23rd it already said sent without tracking when it’s by registered mail .... I just hope that this seller hasn’t found a loophole to receive the money without paying anything because sometimes ebay sends the money without waiting for delivery, that worries me because I see this seller in a shady way, thank you for your reply it reassures me a little...

IF eBay credits the seller's account and the seller hasn't shipped, for example... and the purchase hasn't been received..
- eBay will make a withdrawal from their bank account to reimburse you if you opened the dispute for non-receipt within the allotted time.

OP2 years agoi hope it'll be like that, i don't understand what this seller has to gain by not replying to messages and causing stress like this for potential buyers..in any case, as far as i'm concerned if i solve the problem i block him permanently, we're a community of buyers and sellers, not psychiatrists ...and yes i have a little smile, thank you for your reply and for the time you spent answering me, kind regards
