KLM Houses
Summary: designmidcentury bought a lot of ceramic KLM houses on eBay and ran into problems with the seller regarding shipping and item protection. After the package finally arrived, two houses were broken, and the seller stayed silent after being informed about the damage. *miss-tigri* advises designmidcentury to open a dispute for a return or refund through eBay.
I bought a lot of KLM houses from a seller, and of course I asked for the package to be packed properly to avoid breakage, since these houses are ceramic.
No reply, so I sent another message asking when the package would be sent so I could plan for delivery.
The seller replied a few days later that he had been traveling and, I quote: “I don’t schedule my life around my eBay sales.
Then another message telling me he had been in a car accident…
Finally, the package is sent, small parcel, almost no protection, so out of the ten houses, two are broken.
I sent a message to the seller to let him know the package had arrived and the damage that was found.
Total silence…
What should I do?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Mentor2 years agoHello
You can open a dispute to request a return and a refund.
The seller may accept the return or offer you a partial refund..
Check with them.
