Wrong name / wrong address entered by the seller on their eBay account
Summary: berve6651 is worried about having to refund a buyer due to a delivery address error on eBay. francexpressdeal reassures them that the parcel will be returned and advises checking whether the buyer wants a new delivery, with the extra shipping costs charged to them. *miss-tigri* recommends monitoring the parcel tracking to make sure it gets back to the original point. The item is not lost, but it requires follow-up and communication with the buyer.
Hello.
I am a seller.
A buyer (1st purchase profile "0") did not correctly enter their name / delivery address on their eBay account. The La Poste tracking says: "Your shipment is going to be returned to the sender because the address provided was incorrect or incomplete".
Item lost...............
I am not responsible, but am I going to have to refund for an item not received and write off the lost item??........
Thanks for your clarification.........

Mentor1 year agoHello
Keep an eye on the tracking anyway, because the package will be dropped off at its starting point ( in case you don’t receive a notification).

Mentor1 year agoHello @berve6651
your item isn't lost since it will be returned to you.
Contact the buyer to find out whether they want a second delivery to the correct address. If so, they will therefore have to pay you the delivery costs since the problem comes from them.
