Hello, I wanted to know if a minor has the right to create an account using the identity of an adult who agrees (like someone in their family) in order to sell an item? I would like to know if this is allowed by eBay and if it is legal please
If so, we need to look more closely at minors' responsibility for the wrongful acts they may commit. And on the other hand, eBay is not an entity above the law....
So, you have to be careful about what you do, whether on eBay or elsewhere... whether it's in the context of identity theft to open an account... or using it without the account owner's knowledge...
Lol yeah actually I’m a minor, I was going to sell an item (I didn’t know you had to be an adult) and eBay asked me for verification so I made this post and to be honest I didn’t really understand your reply or the article you linked, if everything is legal in the listing and there’s no problem can I use the account of an adult who agrees then? Then the money from the sale will go into their account and they’ll pass it on to me thanks
Why make things complicated? The adult who agrees to lend you their account puts your item up for sale for you and will give you the money once they’ve received it ..😉
The account holder must be an adult, but nothing prevents a minor from entrusting the sale of their items to an adult, who will be responsible in the event of the sale of counterfeit goods or stolen property.

Could this be from experience...?

As a minor.... and if you use an adult's account...
I don't understand why this person doesn't post the listing for you...
It would be simpler...
read this link that was given to you by @*miss-tigri* ----> Minor member | eBay
