Updating my account information
Summary: application-systeme expresses frustration about repeated requests for documents from eBay customer service to update the information on his professional account. After providing several documents, it seems that with each call, a new request is made, making the process frustrating and unclear. *miss-tigri* and francexpressdeal advise speaking directly with customer service. application-systeme suspects that customer service does not exactly know which document is required, which adds to the confusion.
Hello,
my business account had been working properly since August. For the past month now, I’ve been asked to update my business information: I have resubmitted the ID card photocopy of the managers, the SIREN extract, the KBIS, etc. I’ve had customer service on the line 3 times: once I’m told it’s because the ID document has expired, another time that the director’s first name wasn’t entered, now I’m being asked for a "list of active beneficiaries" even though it’s already mentioned on the SIREN declaration. This document is obtained after a process with the INPI, not necessarily easily... why not ask us for it when creating the account...
I find Ebay’s attitude really unprofessional!
Do you have a solution?

Mentor1 year agoHello @application-systeme
"Is this document, the 'list of beneficial owners,' a document that was requested from you?"
It doesn’t matter whether this request was already made or not to another seller.
If customer support is asking for this information, they must have their reasons.
As already said: you need to deal with this "problem" directly with them. The people on this forum won’t be able to help you with this point.

OP1 year agoHello,
Let’s say I’m trying to understand, and above all I think the 3rd customer service rep asked me for this document because they checked another customer account and saw this document there as supporting proof. My idea is that that’s not really the problem... once I’ve provided this document, they’ll ask me for something else because the customer service reps seem just as lost as I am... that’s why I’m asking whether this is something that’s usually requested or not.
