eBay warning for shill bidding when that’s not the case. What should I do?
Summary: kazoutou received a warning from eBay regarding potentially artificial bidding on their cheese label collection sales, despite there being no manipulation. lingma85 advises contacting eBay customer service to clarify the situation, and to have the email handy when communicating.
Hello
I received an email from eBay warning me about the risks involved in artificially bidding to drive up prices on items.
I think I have the explanation. For some time now I’ve been selling my collection of cheese labels and it’s almost always the same collector buyers who win the items.
Of course there is nothing artificial about these bids and I haven’t been able to find the link to contact eBay to explain this to them.
In their email it is mentioned that, with this behavior, I risk having my account deleted.
How can I resolve this problem?
Thank you
