Hello,
I completed a transaction that was supposed to be done in person. Given the buyer's distance, it couldn't be carried out normally. The buyer paid me the shipping costs and settled the amount for the item via ebay.
To finalize the shipment, he is asking me to provide him with the buyer code.
Could you clarify this for me?

the buyer won't give you the code beforehand (which is normal) but if they don't give it to you afterward, you'll never get the money and they can get a refund; this code is provided at the meeting.
You had to cancel the order and relist it with shipping: no other solution.

OP1 year agoThe shipment has been sent and the payment was made on the site. I had
the buyer on the phone and, honestly, he seemed sincere to me. If however the
package is lost for me, well then it will be an experience for me.

Mentor1 year agoContact the buyer again after delivery to ask them to share the code they received during payment.
