I opened a seller account!
A few days later I receive an email telling me that my account will be charged 150€
Is this normal ????
I understand that there are operating fees, but 150 is really hard to swallow.
Thanks for your experiences and sensible comments
Best regards

·2 years agoHello, @oliviefrade_2 ,
Cost of the option : 3 % of the reserve price (with a minimum of 3 EUR and a maximum of 150 EUR), whether your item is sold or not.
150 € corresponds to a reserve price of at least 5000 €.

OP2 years agoBut I still got charged 150...
Done and finished for me, EBay, bunch of thieves...
I lost €150, that's how they fleece people like me...
Didn't even sell the item either, double loss.

following your message from 02-20-2024 22:15 and before...
Given that you haven't sold... that you set a reserve price which is due even without a sale (you don't give the amount of this reserve price...) and that eBay charged you €150 in fees...
- you need to contact Customer Service here----> eBay Customer Service (contact during business hours if possible see bottom of the page of the link "contact us"...)
This service has the means to see why you need to pay this amount...
whereas here... no one has the tools to do it, (and what you say doesn't give much information to help you...)
Kind regards

Mentor2 years agoHello @oliviefrade_2
You put an item up for sale at €1000 with a reserve price...
This is still due even if the sale doesn’t go through...
See here ( fee schedule / reserve price)----> Fees for private sellers | eBay
