Seiko automatic watch
Hello, I bought a watch on eBay. I’m texting with the seller, who is in the United Kingdom, and we can’t reach an agreement on the refund. He contradicts himself with every message. What should I do?

You bought outside the eurozone, since Great Britain left the EU after Brexit, and so you are an importer liable for VAT + customs clearance to retrieve your purchase...
Your insistence on not wanting to pay what you owe... means that asking for a refund becomes almost mission impossible ----->
1 solution that probably won’t suit you.... =----->
- retrieve the purchase after paying what is due.... and possibly send it back if the purchase does not suit you
so that you can be refunded for it-----> Return an item for a refund | eBay
1 other possibility... =---->
- if you do not receive the item, you cannot ask the seller for a refund greater than the item’s purchase price since the shipping costs were used for transport and the carrier will not intervene...

(pass the link on to your seller )
They will only be able to comply once the parcel is returned to them...
Kind regards

A refund for what, and for what reason?
Is this related to your previous thread?

(if it's for a tax paid twice, you need to ask eBay for the refund)
