non-payment
Summary: 92ulysse shared an experience where a buyer didn’t pay for an item won at auction on eBay and is asking for advice on how to report this behavior. koalagris and *miss-tigri* suggest canceling the transaction after three days if there is no payment. *miss-tigri* explains that eBay will issue a warning to the buyer, and that the buyer could be restricted from bidding again if they repeat the behavior.
Hello,
I sold an item at auction. I listed it for 1 euro and there were many bidders.
The buyer who won the auction is not paying and is showing no signs of life.
I understand that I can cancel the sale, and I know that when I relist my item it will sell easily. But that is not enough.
My question is: how do I create a dispute or report this fake bidder? My goal is for eBay to work properly, a site I appreciate. We must not allow this kind of behavior to thrive, as it distorts competition and the very principle of auctions.

Mentor11 months agoHello
After 3 days, you cancel the transaction for non-payment ..
You can relist the item for sale, and as for the buyer, they will get a warning from eBay ..
If they do it again, they will no longer be able to bid with most sellers who have set up their accounts that way ..
