Hello everyone....Something unexpected is happening to me that I have never encountered.
I am selling a lot of Barbies, a buyer makes me an offer that I accept. He does not pay immediately. A few days later I see in my eBay: item paid, send the item.
In my messages, no payment confirmation.
I call eBay and they tell me yes, the buyer has paid... I prepare the package, the shipping label. But I have doubts and check in my seller account: no payment pending.
I call eBay again, which confirms the buyer marked it as paid in his eBay, but has not paid.
So I'm stuck, impossible to cancel the listing, which remains stuck on shipping. eBay claims it cannot cancel the sale, a request has been made to customer service but my listing is still there pending. I relisted it (which I can do). I blocked the buyer who threatened me, among other things, with a bad review !!!! Then he calmed down by offering to put the listing back at the same price and said he would make an immediate payment. Which I refuse given his first threatening messages.
Have you experienced this case? How long will this listing stay up? This is hurting me with potential buyers.

given the situation, only customer service will be able to help you.
On the other hand, if you want to deal with competent customer service, contact them via the eBay France Facebook site:

They respond quickly and efficiently. And if by any chance they don't have the answer right away, unlike the “regular” customer service, they won't just give you any old nonsense... They'll find out and get back to you.

OP5 months agoGood evening, thank you for your reply, I have had several contacts with eBay support, apparently it is impossible to cancel the listing. However, they advised me to mark the sale as sent, which I did, so the listing disappeared from my ongoing sales.
The buyer made a virtual payment to me and I shipped a virtual package... To be continued.
However, I’m keeping your advice in mind; if things go badly, I won’t hesitate to follow it.
