very aggressive new buyer members!
Summary: megacamo shares their frustration about the negative ratings they regularly receive from new customers. They mention that these customers often have very few ratings on their accounts. Despite their efforts to get these ratings changed, it takes them a lot of time. They ask why the option to prevent new accounts from buying has disappeared and express concerns about a blocked customer who keeps creating new accounts. koalagris responds by redirecting them to an eBay community link to avoid duplicates.
Hello, lately, since November, I’ve regularly been getting customers who leave me negative feedback, and they’re always, I mean ALWAYS, new customers with fewer than 5 ratings on their account. I manage to get them to change their rating each time, but it takes up an awful lot of my time. I remember that in the past we could prevent new accounts with less than a certain number of ratings from buying our items, why has that option disappeared? Also, along the same lines, I blocked a customer but he keeps creating new accounts to try to buy my products, so I end up having to cancel the sales and block sales to Canada, but that hurts my rating and makes me miss legitimate sales. What can eBay do to help me with this problem? It’s becoming uncontrollable.
