I've put some of my items up for sale, I'm a beginner and usually only use Mondial Relay. Here I wanted to sell internationally to sell better, I went to check on Colissimo, I set the rates accordingly..
Except that now, when it comes time to ship, Ebay doesn't give me a choice and automatically offers me their service, so it goes from 45 euros paid by the buyer to 236 euros for the United States.
Did I miss a step ?

OP2 years agothanks for the reply 😉 I had used the colissimo international page for the rates, but I must have missed something when posting the listing, I must have linked it to the eBay system or something like that.. thanks I'll be careful next time 🙂

I think I'm going to give up the idea of selling abroad, even canceled the sales I can't find where it is.. Because I'm not going to ask for 230 euros in shipping costs, that's outrageous ^^' How can I make a listing with the shipping costs I chose without going through Ebay labels ? thank you

There’s nothing indecent about that... you don’t decide the carriers’ rates, and foreign buyers know what’s what (especially in the US and Canada, where shipping costs are very high..)
If a buyer wants the item, they’ll go through what’s being asked or they won’t buy it.. it’s as simple as that.
Besides, you are by no means obliged to use the site’s shipping platform...
You go directly --->
- to La Poste for Colissimo and fill in what’s asked for the destination country...
and
- you link your eBay account with Mondial Relay here------> Send your eBay orders with complete simplicity - Mondial Relay
You can ship to certain European countries with this carrier.

Make sure the buyer wants to pay the shipping costs; otherwise, cancel the transaction by mutual agreement..
