Return tracking number different from the stamp
I find myself in a pickle:
I asked the seller for a return.
They accepted the return, so eBay generated me a La Poste postage label, with a tracking number.
But! The tracking number on eBay and the tracking number on the La Poste label are different!... So the package did arrive at the seller’s place, but for eBay, the package hasn’t been sent...
What should I do?

If it gets stuck, you'll need to contact customer service as of tomorrow, contact link at the very bottom "ask us to call you".

OP11 months agoThank you very much for your reply, but I can't add a carrier, because the return label is automatically generated by eBay...
I'll contact them first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks!

OP11 months agoI just contacted eBay, and it’s sorted out; they’re going to process my refund. In fact, the tracking number on the site was filled in by the seller... He put in a fake tracking number... Luckily eBay stepped in, otherwise I would’ve been out of luck!
