⛔counterfeit item bought on eBay does nothing ⛔
Summary: roced69 bought a watch movement on eBay for €2,530, which turned out to be a Chinese counterfeit after an expert appraisal. Despite reporting the problem to eBay, the deadline for the appeal had passed by five days, and eBay refused to intervene. koalagris suggests checking the recourse options through the payment provider, but roced69 specifies having paid by bank card. roced69 has requested a refund through his bank and is considering filing a complaint against the seller and eBay.
⛔I bought a watch movement for €2530, after an expert appraisal (certificate and invoice for the appraisal provided) it turned out that the movement is a Chinese counterfeit, the movement was dropped off after the purchase, but I had to wait a while with the professional because it was initially for a service, so as soon as the watchmaker started dismantling it for the service he realized he had a Chinese movement in his hands, I immediately notified eBay, but the one-month deadline was exceeded by 5 days, eBay kindly explains to me to go elsewhere and does absolutely nothing to remedy this and even wishes me a good day👌
