Objects malfunction shortly after commissioning

I'm unsuccessfully looking for the warranty period of an item bought on the platform
this one only worked for 6 weeks before giving out
I contacted the seller and I'm waiting for a response
but I wanted to know from your past experiences whether I can hope for an exchange or a refund

The dispute deadline on eBay is 30 days from delivery.
If you pay by PayPal: dispute deadline on PayPal is 180 days from the payment date.
Then it depends on the seller (to be handled directly with them): legal warranty if they're a business in France.
