Item never received and brushed under the rug
Summary: projetcaro explains that a year after buying a Christmas gift, they realize they never received it and are looking for options to get the item back or get a refund. koalagris says that no recourse is possible a year after the purchase, since the dispute period is 30 days. When projetcaro mentions that no delivery notification was received, koalagris recommends contacting the carrier but points out that the lack of notification does not exempt them from tracking orders. *miss-tigri* suggests writing off the item and reminds them of the importance of being vigilant in the future.
Hello,
I bought an item for Christmas, among many others.
I realize a year later that I never received the item in question... By calling the center where it would have been delivered (pretty far from my place, too), they confirm that the item was sent back the following week as always when no one picks it up.
What recourse do I have to get the item back or, if not, my 71 euros...?
It was a gift for my little girl, who had asked Santa Claus for it and thought she hadn’t been good enough to get it instead of telling me...
I confirm that I received no notification telling me that the package had arrived.

Mentor9 months agoHello
A year? Might as well write it off right away ..
Be careful and make sure Santa doesn’t pull the same stunt on you this year..🎅🏻
That said, have a lovely holiday anyway 🎄

Mentor9 months agoHello @projetcaro
"I realize a year later that I didn't receive the item in question" = no possible recourse, it's way too old...
The dispute period is 30 days from the estimated delivery deadline:
