Item does not match the description
Hello,
I just bought an item in the United States, and I’ve just realized from the photos that it is badly broken, but you had to look closely to see it! Too late. It wasn’t mentioned in the description.
Should I refuse to accept the package, and how do I get a refund? And what about the shipping costs?
Thanks

If the item hasn't been shipped yet, make a cancellation request :
https://www.ebay.fr/help/buying/buyers-can-cancel-order/annuler-une-commande-en-tant-quacheteur?id=4004&st=3&pos=1&query=Annuler%20une%20commande%20en%20tant%20qu%27acheteur&intent=annuler&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1019
Otherwise, don't refuse the package: you'd lose the benefit of eBay's customer guarantee, so you'll need to make a return request.

OP10 months agoThe seller has already sent the parcel.
That’s different from discovering the item broken when you unwrap it.
It was hidden when the listing was posted, not mentioned in the description.
The photos are taken in a way that hides the defect.
I consider that I was deceived, are the return conditions still the same? Should I then pay shipping costs twice? (Outgoing and return)

VS
"The images are taken in such a way as to hide the defect"
= ??
So you will understand that it is impossible for the members of this forum to answer your question: "Should I then pay the shipping fees twice? (Outward and return)"
"I consider that I was deceived" = It will be up to eBay to decide...
