Non-compliant item
I bought equipment for my business activity just before summer.
I was away for 2 months.
My assistant picked up this order a little late after I left on vacation.
The item does not match the description.
I contacted the seller, who doesn’t want to hear it.
How should I proceed?

Don’t expect anything from eBay...
On the other hand, if you bought from a professional... use the legal means available to you...
if you paid by PayPal----> you can file a claim during the 180 days following the payment...
Otherwise.. write a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the seller, telling them either to refund you, or to provide you with a product matching the listing description... within a time period you set, failing which you will consider legal action...
In case of no response or an unsatisfactory response...
use the DGCCRF, which is there to defend consumers, by filing a case bringing together all the elements of your transaction and the reasons for your complaint...
