Item not received
Summary: sanglot1713 explains that an eBay seller sent a comic book to the wrong address, then stopped responding after several postponements. eBay can no longer step in because the 30-day deadline for disputes has passed. francexpressdeal confirms that there’s no solution through eBay because of the deadline, while koalagris suggests checking with the payment provider to resolve the problem.
I bought a comic book in September 2024. The seller didn't send it to the correct address (the package was then returned to him). Then, after many delays and excuses, in his last message he wrote that he was fed up, and since then he hasn't replied to my messages anymore. I can't get Ebay involved because apparently it's too late (the sale no longer appears because it's too old in their "get help" section). Should I take that to mean that I'm going to lose the book and my money (purchase and shipping costs)? If that's the case, I'm disgusted that I trusted the seller, who left me hanging.
Thanks in advance if you have a solution (I don't even see how I can contact ebay anymore, which seems to say it can only act within 30 days?)

Mentor1 year agoThe dispute period is indeed 30 days from the estimated delivery date, after that there’s no more recourse on the site.

With eBay, there’s no solution given how long ago the purchase was.
