Item not received
Summary: sebacoch0 bought Apple AirPods at auction for €90, but didn’t receive them by the expected date. After trying to cancel the order unsuccessfully, he contacted eBay, which advised him to wait until December 17 for refund assistance, despite the original waiting period being set for December 11. koalagris explained that you need to wait for the seller’s response window before asking eBay to step in, and provided a link to the official procedure.
Good evening, I ordered, or rather won at auction, an Apple AirPod headset. I mean I paid €90 on November 30, and seeing that I wasn’t receiving the item, which was normally expected by December 10 at the latest, I wanted to cancel but the seller refused the cancellation. So I contacted eBay, who told me that they were taking my request into account to contact the seller about my refund request and that if by December 11 I hadn’t heard back, I could get back to them for a refund, which I did today, so on December 11 I reported the dispute saying that the item still hadn’t arrived. Besides, the status hasn’t changed, it’s still showing order being prepared, and eBay replies that my request has been noted, but that I have to wait until December 17 to get help with the refund. When initially it was supposed to be December 11, what should I do? Thank you

The procedure is explained on this page :

Yes, you'll have to wait before being able to use the "ask eBay to step in" button, since the seller has a deadline to respond to the dispute.
