Paid item and removed from sale, no way to contact eBay customer service
Hello,
I paid for an item and the seller sent me a message to tell me he removed the item from sale; he doesn't understand ... yet I paid and it's impossible to get a human or a chatbot to find out how to get a refund... they ask us to wait for delivery? do you know what I should do and how, thank you for your help

If your seller had removed the item from sale, you would not have been able to buy it or pay for it.
So it is now up to them to formally cancel the transaction and issue a refund (if they don't know how, they can come onto the forum).
If they are unwilling to do so, you will indeed have to wait until the delivery deadline has passed before you can open a dispute for an item not received in order to be refunded:

This is quite a scam.
I don't understand why the money isn't held by ebay and released upon confirmation of receipt.
I am forced to chase after the seller who says they haven't received the payment while it has been debited from my account.
And not a single human at ebay to answer you...

Mentor2 years agoOn the buyer side, no action is possible before the delivery date has passed; on the seller side, even if they haven't received the funds yet, they have the option to ask eBay to trigger the refund:
