Item received 2 months later, dispute closed and refunded, how do I do it via eBay?

Hello, I had bought an item in early November, it never arrived even though the seller said it had been sent, so I opened a dispute in early December and got a refund from eBay in mid-December because the seller had no proof of shipment (sent as regular letter mail). Today this letter finally arrived (posted on 11/13)... How can I let eBay know that the seller is legit? Can I only contact the seller directly and see about paying them again? Thanks for any help.
