Receiving a package
good evening,
I made my first purchase today and I received an email from eBay telling me that the package had already been dropped off at the seller's pickup point. I only realized that it was addressed to my username. Could I pick it up with an order number or an arrival text message at my pickup point? thank you

"eBay email telling me that the package has already been dropped off at the seller's pickup point" = ??? the seller owns the item they put up for sale, so I assume you mean that eBay informed the seller of your purchase today...
= Check your delivery info in the order details, don't hesitate to contact your seller (quickly, before shipping) and if needed update your account:

OP2 years agomy parcel was collected at 4:21 p.m. according to the email, by the seller's Mondial Relais, so I infer that he dropped it off and that it's too late for him to change the recipient's name, hence my question.

it was up to you to enter your delivery info correctly.
You don't say whether you contacted the seller...
without pickup, the parcel will be returned to them.
