Combined shipping cost settings – single billing for the highest shipping cost
Summary: klayze wants to set up their seller account so that a buyer only pays the highest shipping fee once when purchasing multiple items on eBay, regardless of the shipping profile (France, Europe, international). lingma85 suggests using eBay's shipping discount tools and advanced listing tool to achieve this goal.
Hello,
I’d like to set up my seller account so that, for any order containing multiple items (domestic, European, or international), the buyer only pays the shipping cost once, corresponding to the item with the highest shipping rate.
Specifically:
If a customer buys 2 items, they only pay the more expensive of the two shipping costs.
If they buy 10 items, they only pay the most expensive shipping cost out of the ten.
No additional fee for each extra item.
I want this rule to apply to all my listings, regardless of the shipping profiles (France, Europe, international).
Could you tell me:
The settings to configure in shipping preferences,
Any necessary conditions (identical shipping profiles, automatic rules to activate, etc.),
The points to watch so that this rule works without exception.
Thank you in advance for your help and for the detailed instructions.
Best regards,
Hervé
