The object doesn't matter since the problem happens twice
Do you know why eBay takes fees on shipping costs, Mondial Relay, among others? Example: I sell an item for €33 + €7 shipping. Transaction = €40, well the transaction fees don't apply to 33 but to 40 €. For me that's illogical? And I'm very sad. !😢 Could I be wrong? A. D

Mentor2 years agoHello
And yet you've been a seller for a while now, and it's only now that you're noticing it?
That's how it's been for many years, in order to put an end to certain practices by sellers who listed items cheaper and made up for it with shipping fees, which at the time were not subject to commission..

Mentor2 years agoHello @swichou
Ebay takes a commission on the total amount of the paid transaction (or not...) by the buyer...
and since the transaction includes the item price + shipping costs... ebay therefore takes a percentage on the shipping amount ( QED...)
- paypal acts the same way too..
Best regards
