Philips CDR880 CD Recorder + FB / serviced 1 year warranty [2]

So, I bought this Philips burner on 12/30/2023. A first problem appeared, it practically did not recognize cdrs, even the cdr brand that the seller offered me.
The seller replaced the drive, and the fault was resolved. But a 2nd problem appeared, when I asked for a burn in sync mode, that did not work. I told them several times that there was a problem, but he replied that I didn't know how to use it. The source drive is a Marantz cd 6007. A Philips cdr 950 that I own works very well in sync mode. I sent them the CDR880, he replied and told me that if I wanted to get it back, I had to pay the return shipping costs and the costs resulting from after-sales service. What should I do? accept it?, or ask for a refund?. when a product does not work properly it is normal that I could ask for a refund.

Regarding the "warranties" offered by the site.... the deadlines have passed... so you can't expect anything from it...

and you ask---> What should I do? accept?, or ask for a refund ?.
It's now a deal to be worked out, at best, in your interest between your seller and yourself.... since it will happen outside ebay...
- take your calculator and see what is preferable cost-wise.
