Item purchased in Germany and returned, yet marked Delivered
Summary: riravelo-0 ordered a shaft bearing that was supposed to be delivered to Cergy, France, but it was marked as "DELIVERED" by DPD even though he never received it. After an unsuccessful delivery attempt, the package was returned to Germany, and it is no longer possible to file a claim on eBay. lingma85 advises him to contact eBay customer service to explain the issue and ask to be called back.

On 05/08/2024 I ordered a wheel bearing for W164 from https://www.ebay.fr/usr/apm-autoteile; transaction number: 24-11904-88455.
The goods were handed over to DPD for delivery in France to Cergy 95800.
But the delivery driver had the idea of marking it as "DELIVERED" even though that hadn't happened yet, and after an unsuccessful attempt, he (the DPD driver) sent the goods back and it came back to the sender in Germany, it says so in the DPD tracking https://tracking.dpd.de/status/fr_CH/parcel/01395038448209.
I only now know that I didn't receive the goods and I check in Ebay, there is no longer any possibility to file a claim
I contacted the seller, but they didn't reply.
How should I do it?

What a mess...
- the least bad option would be to contact Customer Service and explain the problem....-----> eBay Customer Service
Do it during business hours if possible and ask to be called back.
