Made in Italy toy gun repair?
Summary: patricdechau-0 is looking for help fixing an Italian toy gun, specifically putting a spring back inside it. After finding the toy in a family attic, they share photos to explain the problem better. madelodie suggests asking the seller for the instructions, but patricdechau-0 says that isn’t possible. lingma85 recommends looking for tutorials online, which patricdechau-0 has already tried without success. The spring seems to be intact, but where it goes remains a mystery.
Hello everyone.
I picked up a toy pistol marked on one side Made in Italy and ERR or FRR?
on the other side FORT SMITH. I have a problem putting the spring back inside and I was looking for one in order to see how it is originally arranged... Photos of the disassembled pistol:

I found a listing (expired unfortunately) for a very similar pistol. Here is the description cap pistol- spring OK- Ginger Italy- 15 cm long
Maybe one of you bought it? Here is the link to the photo (if I have sufficient rights it will appear below:

Otherwise, if someone knows how to put this spring back together?? My grandchildren would be delighted to be able to use it in turn.
Many thanks in advance!

Mentor3 years agoGood evening @patricdechau-0
Maybe by watching tutorials on taking apart toy guns or not, like there are on google, you might be able to sort it out...
But if the part (or the spring) is broken, then the repair is a lost cause...
Search for "cleaning... disassembly... etc.. You might come across the fix you need.
Kind regards
